Leroy Robert Johnson (5/8/1911-08/16/1938) a fost un american de blues cântăreţ şi muzician. Abilităţile lui la chitara, şi talentul de compozitor au influentat generatii de muzicieni. Deşi el a început înregistrarea trei ani înainte de moartea sa, Robert Johnson a devenit o legendă şi o mare sursă de inspiraţie pentru artişti precum Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones sau Eric Clapton şi Cream.Eric Clapton a numit pe Johnson ", cel mai important cantaret de blues care a trăit vreodată".Johnson a fost clasat pe locul al cincilea in Rolling Stone's lista de mai mari 100 de chitaristi ai tuturor timpurilor.
